5-Axis Machining Center

Provided industrial and mechanical design support for the head guarding of a 5-axis machining center. Several design concepts were evaluated for appearance, functionality and cost. Formed and flat-pattern detail design drawings of the selected concept were created in Pro/Engineer. The sheet metal vender used the flat-pattern CAD files directly to create the parts. At the completion of the project, a brochure rendering was created using 3D Studio MAX.
